Luo Chat

Help center

Answers to common Luo Chat account, messaging and installation questions. These instructions do not ask you to disable any browser protection.

Accounts and signing in

How do I create a Luo Chat account?

Use the Create account option on Luo Chat, enter your own email address and a unique password, and follow the email confirmation instructions if requested. Do not enter the password for your Google or email account into Luo Chat's password field.

I forgot my password or did not get a confirmation email

Choose Forgot password? or Resend confirmation on the sign-in page. Check your inbox and spam folder and use the newest link. Avoid repeatedly requesting links in a short period: rate limits protect accounts. If the link has expired, request a new one from the official app.

My session expired or the app keeps asking me to sign in

Check that your browser permits cookies and local site storage for the official Luo Chat address. Reload while online, then sign in using your Luo Chat credentials. Do not clear browser data if you have unsent drafts or offline files you have not saved elsewhere.

Messages, files and notifications

How do I find a person or start a group?

After signing in, use the People tab to search an exact username or save a contact. Start a direct conversation, or use the group chat tools where available. Group owners can manage members from the conversation menu.

Why are messages or shared files missing when offline?

Previously loaded text or selected files may be saved on this device according to your Storage & data settings. Not all messages or attachments are available offline. Reconnect and refresh before assuming content has been deleted.

Notifications, camera or microphone don't work

Check the app's Device access and Notifications settings and the browser's site permissions. Some features need a supported browser and user permission. On iOS, background push requires installing the PWA and using a supported OS/browser combination. Don't bypass security warnings to enable these features.

Installing and updating the PWA

How do I install Luo Chat without an APK?

On Android Chrome: visit the official website, open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen when offered. On iPhone Safari: open Share and select Add to Home Screen. The browser may require repeated visits before offering installation. Luo Chat does not require an APK download or permission to install unknown apps.

If Chrome shows a Dangerous site warning, do not continue or install the application. Google's Safe Browsing warning must be resolved first.

How can I update the installed app?

Open Luo Chat while connected to the internet. In Settings → Help use Check for updates, then accept any available update. Close and reopen the app as needed. Save pending local drafts or offline files before clearing site data or reinstalling.

Can I check whether installation files are available?

Open the Connection & PWA checks page. The checks confirm that public app files are reachable; they cannot determine if Google has cleared the website or whether a particular device will offer an installation prompt.

Privacy, safety and support

Are Luo Chat conversations end-to-end encrypted?

No. The service has access controls for private content but should not be described as offering end-to-end encryption for every conversation. Read the Privacy notice for storage and data-handling information.

How do I delete my account or report abuse?

Sign in and find account deletion under Settings. For abuse or security reports, send details to creationslous@gmail.com without including passwords, access tokens, or private message contents. More information is on the Contact page.
