Necessary storage
The app uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, essential preferences and unsent work. The PWA service worker caches public app files; private messages are not intentionally placed in that public shell cache. Refusing optional diagnostics does not block sign-in.
Optional offline storage
Storage & data controls govern recent chat text and media caching. Explicitly saved video drafts use IndexedDB and may contain sensitive unencrypted media. These controls are separate from diagnostics consent. Clear saved data through the app or your browser.
Optional diagnostics
With opt-in, the browser may send bounded fixed error codes to /api/telemetry. No message text, stack traces, page URLs or persistent user identifier is included by that reporter. The server may send fixed events to PostHog and use Upstash for short-lived rate limiting with a rotating hashed network identifier. Hosting and security request logs are separate from this optional reporter.
Change your choice
Use Cookie settings on any public page or the app to allow or reject optional diagnostics. Preferences last 180 days on this browser when storage is available. If storage fails, optional diagnostics remain off after reload. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track override an opt-in for the browser reporter. No advertising tracker is introduced.
Third parties and questions
Choosing external media features may contact their providers independently of the optional error reporter. This banner is not a full third-party cookie scanner or a certification of worldwide consent compliance. Contact creationslous@gmail.com with storage or privacy questions.
